My strategy was to play the game as normal but cut out as much 'regular maintenance' on the main farm as much as possible for the first three days starting the day you take the quest. They fixed it in 1.5.3 that Qi Beans and seeds despawn, even in the Junimo chest. It's possible to turn just four Qi beans into 500 fruit with sufficient Deluxe Speed-Gro in 28 days.Ī recommendation in addition to what others have said Once you've tilled out the region you want to put your Qi Beans in, fill the remaining area with Bok Choi l it will keep the tilled fields tilled until you harvest it, it matures fast, and it's cheap enough that you won't feel too bad destroying it if you need to plant more Qi Beans before it matures.

I've generally been going every Monday, and both times I've recieved the Quest, it's been at the beginning of Fall, and I was offered the full 28 days.Īnd yeah, as other s have mentioned, it's completely doable with sufficient Seed-Makers and attention. I guess it's pretty dependent on when you go to Mr Qi's room to getthe quest. Honestly don't think I'm going to get it done, and ive foregone doing pretty much everything else just to bomb EVERYTHING in the mines/skull/volcano/whereever I am at the time. planted those, went into the skull cave while these were growing. My strat was very simple i had some omni geodes saved up around 100. i just finished the quest its very much doable the first time you get it.
So then when the next go around comes? You're now truly ready. Unlike normal chests or your own inventory, Qi Fruit and Qi Beans do NOT despawn in a Junimo Chest.
Then, when the Qi Fruit matures? Straight into the Seed Maker. Leave one or two spots fallow if you need to ever grow Pineapples or Taro Tubers for any reason but the vast majority of the fields you use SOLELY for Qi Fruit. My advice is to use the space on the Ginger Island farm as a means to grow them. And you gotta ship 500 of those bad boys. And that's because a single Qi Bean produces a single Qi Fruit.
